Purpose of the Programme
Feeling good about ourselves and having a strong sense of self-worth are fundamental to long-term contentment, success and fulfilment. A positive self-image is one of the most valuable gifts we can bestow upon ourselves. Many of us go through life convinced we're not good enough, habitually berating ourselves and unaware of our innate attributes and unique brilliance. If your self-confidence needs a boost or a lack of it is holding you back, this programme helps you to develop the self-esteem you deserve.
Overview of the Programme
This programme helps you to create a positive self-image and the confidence to aspire towards and achieve your goals and ambitions. It includes fun, interesting and enlightening exercises that aim to transform your confidence. It is structured around six guiding principles:

Format of the Programme
- One day workshop
- One day workshop with follow up one-to-one coaching sessions
- One-to-one coaching programme
Principle 1: Acceptance and Appreciation
One of the key steps towards improving our confidence is accepting ourselves for who we are without blame or criticism. In this session you will:
- Raise your awareness of how you see yourself
- Put modesty aside and identify your natural strengths and the things you are good at
- Learn how to appreciate who you are and stop worrying about what others think of you
Principle 2: Self-talk and Self-limiting beliefs
Being aware of our self-talk helps us to identify self-limiting beliefs that affect our self-confidence and prevent us from making the best of ourselves. In this session you will learn how to:
- Tame your inner critic
- Be your own best friend
- Transform limiting beliefs into empowering ones that energise and inspire you
Principle 3: Patience and Persistence
When we have experienced how great it is to feel confident we can become impatient with ourselves when self-doubt returns or our confidence is knocked. In this session you will learn how to:
- Spot early warning signs of self-doubt and stop them in their tracks
- Move on from negative experiences
- Be gentle, kind and patient with yourself
- Deal with confidence thieves such as fear, procrastination, perfectionism and the comfort zone
Principle 4: Imagine
In this session you imagine and visualise all the changes you will make in your life with your new found confidence. You will get the opportunity to:
- Get in touch with what is most important to you
- Visualise your new direction and ideal life
- Create a wish list and action plan
Principle 5: Reward and Review
When reviewing our progress on our journey towards being consistently confident, it is easy to focus on what we haven't yet achieved rather than congratulating ourselves on what we have achieved. In this session you will learn ways to:
- Set stepping stone goals so it is easy to review your progress
- Acknowledge small successes on the way
- Reward and congratulate yourself
Principle 6: Enjoy and Explore
It is very easy to be so focused on the long-term goal of being more confident that you forget about enjoying the moment. The exhilaration of achievement, however, cannot be exaggerated and provides the spring board for exploring even more empowering options to further develop your confidence and help you to realise your true potential. In this part of the programme you will learn how to:
- Maintain the momentum of your new found confidence
- Refuel your enthusiasm
- Use your successes and self-belief to explore new opportunities and embark on goals that further enhance your confidence
